Nadir is no stranger to the Detroit Music Awards. But the 2008 show was definitely the most exciting one yet. At the top of the night Nadir was named Outstanding Urban/Funk Vocalist. Nadir then proceded to destroy the show with a high energy prime time performance; after which he was called back to the stage where "Slave: The Remixtape" was named Outstanding Electronic Dance Recording. If you've ever been exposed to Nashville's Neo-Soul scene, then you probably know about Lovenoise. And If you've ever had the pleasure of being at Lovenoise, then you've probably seen or heard of Descendants of Reality. They've been killin' shows all over Nashville as well as the country. The soulfull duo takes it to the stage with energetic "old soul" vocals usually supported by a real band. Soulbeat Productions has had the pleasure of engineering many of their projects. This year Rev caught up with Reecie (left) and Brownie (right) at the 3rd anual Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA) in Tunica. The Soul Sistas rocked the mic and the podium where they took home the award for R&B Group of the year. Congratulations Sistas! you've earned it.
